This video, taken during the 70th Anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 2014, shows the thickness of the hedgerows in Normandy. These are near Utah Beach, where the 101st, 82nd, 4th and 90th divisions landing or parachuted in to.
You can’t see through them…a machine gun or anti-tank gun would be hiding and ready to fire. Deadly business for American and Commonwealth troops.
